楊升英为槟城名中医楊允宗（1890-1948）之子，继承父业，悬壶济世。父子二人长期为病黎施医赠药，仁心仁术，世人称道。六十年代，楊升英也联合兄弟创立祥发”瓷器行，专办中西名磁发售。

3rd Son of Yeoh Oon Cheong
Yeoh Seng Eng，and his father Yeoh Oon Cheong, were both renowned Chinese physicians in the 20th Century in Penang. The father and son were known to provide free TCM treatment for the sick poor for a long time in their practices. In the 1960s, Yeoh Seng Eng also co-founded Seong Huat Porcelain Store with his brothers, specializing in the sale of Chinese and Western famous porcelain.
