海澄地名沿革 / HaiTeng Place Name Evolution
海澄縣 与 海澄镇
- 明嘉靖四十五年海澄建縣
- 隆慶六年(1572年)漳浦縣二十八都之五圖(今白水營一帶)劃歸海澄縣。
- 清雍正十二年(1734年)漳浦縣二十三都之八圖(今隆教鄉鎮海一帶)劃歸海澄縣。
- 1957年9月，漳浦縣董浦、三美、山邊3個鄉劃歸海澄縣。
- 1958年8月，海澄縣海滄、新垵2鄉劃歸廈門市。
- 原海澄县镇划归漳州市行政区龍海市
古海澄縣今範圍大致為今漳州市行政区的海澄鎮、白水鎮、浮宮鎮、港尾鎮、東園鎮、東泗鄉、隆教畲族鄉，漳州開發區；廈門海滄區的海滄街道、新陽街道。
HaiTeng / HaiTing / HaiCheng, The County, The Town
Haicheng County was established in year 1644, in the era of JiaJin Emperor, Ming Dynasty. It had been one of the more better-known place name within the ChangChow Prefecture. Over the years, the territory expanded to cover villages from neighouring counties like ChangPor. Located at the river-mouth of JiuLong Jiang, Haichen Town was developed to house the government office of the Prefecture.
In 1913, Chang Chow Prefecture ceased to exist.
In 1958, HaiCang township and Xin’An township came under the Xiamen Municipal District government. The other villages situated on the opposite bank of JiuLong Jiang came under the Zhangzhou (ChangChow in HanyuPinyin name) municipal government. Haicheng, the namesake nowadays, only refers to Haicheng Town in LongHai District of Zhangzhou Municipality.
